We Deserve Better

An International Agency to Control Dangerous AI

Just as nuclear weapons and dangerous technologies like CFCs have previously been regulated by international agencies, we support the creation of an international agency to monitor and enforce binding rules on dangerous AI.

We don't let private companies build nuclear weapons: we shouldn't let them unilaterally build godlike AI. Whether godlike AI is built, if at all, should be a deliberate choice that humanity makes collectively, and not something a small group of companies drag us all into.

The November 1-2 AI Safety Summit is a chance for governments and all of us to take control of this dangerous technology: let's not waste it.
